If you’re attending Maidstone River Festival today, please remember that roads around the event remain OPEN to traffic throughout the day, including during the fireworks.
Please stay on the pavement, use designated crossing points and DO NOT stand or gather in the road to watch the fireworks.
Keep children close and take extra care after dark.
