2026 Fireworks - Important Update

Important update 2026 Fireworks: 

This year’s Maidstone River Festival fireworks will launch from the former Royal Mail sorting office site and not the roof of Fremlin Walk due to last minute changes outside our control.

There will be no road closures in place, so please take extra care around roads and the river area during the display.

Friendly Notice for Pet Owners & Firework-Sensitive Individuals 

Please be aware that fireworks will be taking place as part of the Maidstone River Festival on Saturday 25th July.

Location: The former Royal Mail Sorting Office 

Time: Between 22:00 and 22:10 (10pm)

Duration: Around 10 minutes (subject to minor delays due to weather or safety conditions)

If you have pets, young children, or are sensitive to loud noises, we recommend taking any necessary precautions in advance. Keeping animals indoors, closing windows, and playing calming background noise can often help.
